Metallic Holiday Collection
This collection of designs was created for a Shutterfly 2023 Holiday campaign. The goal was to build a group of designs supporting a 'Sleek Sparkle' theme. The designs needed to allow for easy-to-fill photo spaces, feature unexpected winter hues and incorporate glitter and metallic foils to accent the image in thoughtful ways.
My process started with a silver bell as inspiration. I sketched a sleigh bell with a silk ribbon and considered how the ribbon created fluid movement. I translated this sweeping motion into expressive swashes and delicate lines. Carrying the bell inspo into shape, I used arched frames and curving type to suggest the bend of a domed bell.
