Modern Classic Holiday Collection
This collection of holiday designs was created for a Shutterfly 2023 Holiday campaign. The objective was to build a group of designs supporting a 'Twist on Tradition' theme. The designs needed incorporate the familiar iconography of Christmas elements, and translate these in a style that feels fresh and modern.
My approach started by collecting pine clippings and snippets of plaid flannel. I sketched out pines into hatched lines and considered how plaid and bristles could introduce dynamic movement, but be blunted into a more modern feel with soft masks and rounded edges.
