Shutterfly Wedding: Nouveau Ampersand
This wedding suite was created for a Shutterfly 2021 wedding assortment. My goal was to build a suite that worked within the type constraints of Shutterfly's customizer template, but is still refined and unique in handling the couple’s names.
The composition supports the theme of unity: A large flourished ampersand working to visually link each name and adding a softly curved romantic line to spool your eye into the central block of type.
Shutterfly Wedding: Soft Pivot
This wedding suite was created for a Shutterfly 2023 wedding assortment. My objective was to build a typography-focused suite that's flexible and allows for a variety of color customizations.
Attention grabbing type makes a big statement and a fluid serif delicately links the letterforms for a hint of softness in the composition. The use of italics create dynamic shift to counter the strong horizontal lines in the capital letters.
Shutterfly Wedding: Mountain Mint
This wedding suite was created for a Shutterfly 2022 wedding assortment. The purpose was to build a suite that emphasized type on a path and worked to wrap the couple’s names.
The arc of the dominant wedding type is inspired by softly rolling hills, and the botanical pattern liner adds a vintage romantic feel. I created variety and contrast using both value changes and alternating use of pattern and solids.
Shutterfly Wedding: Mirador
This wedding suite was created for a Shutterfly 2022 wedding assortment. My goal was to build a suite that felt custom and bold by emphasizing the couple's initials.
The layout is modern and bold, with a focus on letterforms; And the warm color palette and hand-painted wildflower liner create a delicate counterpoint to the contemporary composition.
